Rivwest Finance Limited is run under the directorship of four professionals with decades of collective experience in the financial services and lending industries.
Robert J Elliott
Bachelor of Business, Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Certified Practising Accountant.
Robert is one of the founding directors of Rivwest Finance and acts as Company Secretary. Robert is responsible for managing relationships with our regulators, prospectus formulation, accounting and tax matters, financial control, and business development. As Company Secretary Robert drives business strategy, corporate governance and policy decision making and oversees and seeks resolutions for issues that arise in the everyday running of the business.
He was previously a director of Darcy Kennedy Pty Limited, Kee Financial Services Pty Limited (superannuation and investment consultants), and Jamac Business Software Pty Limited, all based in Dubbo. Prior to this he was employed by Coopers & Lybrand (Wagga Wagga) and partner of S C Sadlier & Associates, Accountants of Wagga Wagga.
Michael J Graham
Chairman of the Board and Non-Executive Director
Bachelor of Business, member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Certified Practising Accountant.
Michael is currently a Senior Partner of Paisley Robertson, Accountants with offices in Wagga Wagga and Temora. He was previously employed by the State Bank and Adams Kenneally White, Accountants of Wagga Wagga. He has been in public practise since 1986.
Michael has extensive experience in all areas of public practice in particular small business, farming, business valuation, taxation, business finance, and self managed superannuation.
Michael is a founding director of Rivwest Finance Limited. He, along with the other directors, drives strategic direction, corporate governance, and policy for the Rivwest business.
Daniel C Donebus
Current Deputy Chairman of the Board and Non-Executive Director
Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Commerce, member of the Law Society of NSW and Solicitor, Chartered Tax Adviser of the Taxation Institute of Australia.
Daniel is a founding director of Rivwest Finance Limited. He has several decades of experience in business and management to draw upon which contributes to the strategic direction, corporate governance and policy of the Rivwest Finance business.
Daniel is currently in-house legal counsel to a private investment group, Board member of the Wagga Wagga Business Chamber, a trustee of the Riverina Cancer Care Centre Trust along with various other business, community and charity group pursuits. He has previously served on boards of corporations involved in diverse business activities including finance, as director and treasurer of the Wagga Wagga Chamber of Commerce & Industry, as a director of the Wagga Wagga Business Enterprise Centre, past partner and consultant to Farrell Lusher Solicitors of Wagga Wagga, and worked as a senior taxation consultant with Coopers & Lybrand (Sydney).
Robert M Elliott

Robert became a Rivwest Finance Limited Director in September 2018. Rob commenced employment with MJ Duffy and Son Solicitors in 2012, and became a partner in 2014 and is now a Director of Duffy Elliott Lawyers. He has been a practising solicitor for over ten years with experience in a wide range of areas including rural, residential and commercial property, commercial transactions, mortgages, sale and purchase of business and structuring, leasing and estate planning. He was previously employed by Farrell Lusher Solicitors in Wagga Wagga.
Robert draws on his legal and management expertise to contribute to the strategic direction, corporate governance and policy of the Rivwest Finance business.
Paul John Elliott
Bachelor of Commerce, Graduate Diploma in Financial Management, Certified Practising Accountant, Registered Tax Agent.
Paul is currently a Director of Ferrari Gardner Accountants of Dubbo. Paul has over 15 years of public practice accounting experience in Dubbo with several years working in management and senior accounting roles. During this time Paul has gained valuable knowledge in a broad range of industries by assisting clients with budgeting, forecasting, business valuations, superannuation, taxation and business advisory services.
Paul has strong ties to the Dubbo community, previously Paul has served on committee’s and boards as treasurer for not for profit organisations providing business guidance and assisting with financial reporting requirements.
